Special Blessings
Apart from Gajaraj Swamigal, his
wife Vijayalaxmi and daughter Anuradha, Sage Agastya paid special attention to Roshni (name changed to protect identity),
daughter of Anuradha. Roshni who spent the formative years of her life with Gajaraj Swamigal and Vijayalaxmi.
She would help Vijayalaxmi with preparations of the family altar for worship and
was blessed to witness many miracles and devotional gatherings at a very young
age.
At the very first instance of giving of the ‘Agasthiyar
Vazhipaadu,’ it was this little girl through whom the Sage blessed Gajaraj
Swamigal on October 24, 2022. After the discourse, he said, "Ini naan poi varuvardhakku mun, siridalavu askhathiyai thattil irundu eduthu, ammaiyin arul petra alagu kumarihn idam koduthu, ennai nee vanungirukka, e sirumi moolamaaga vaalthugiren".
Translation," Before I leave, I will take some askatha from the plate (raw rice coated with turmeric) and giving it to this beautiful girl, who has been blessed by Divine Mother, as you remain bowing before me, I will bless you through her". So saying he had sprinkle it on Gajarj Swamigal.
A few months earlier, she was also
picked by Swami Shankar of ‘Sri Lopamudra Agastya Ashram’[1] to distribute
Kumkum[2] to devotees. He also commented that he had seen Divine Mother enter the girl’s
body and hence he was having her distribute the Kumkum. The Sage always
referred to her affectionately as ‘Sirumi,’ - young girl.

Kendra: On Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore that was headed by Shanmugatma, an
advanced soul during that time. He passed away a few years later.

powder that is considered sacred and worn on the forehead or mid parting of the

On November 6, 2002, Roshni posed a question to Sage Agastya on why she was born.
Gajaraj Swamigal: Bowing to my Guru
Agastya, I ask, father, what is this test? “Why was I born, asks this little
girl, this daughter of my beloved daughter.
Addressing Gajaraj, Sage Agastya
said, “Father, this is not a question. This is the sweet talk of a sweet
daughter. Seeing this I will tell you with a full heart, listen.”
She who did great penance, wasn’t
she born with the grace of God, for a reason?! As soon as she was born, a
volcano erupted at the place of her birth. I saw her own father disown her and
leave his daughter and his wife; forsaking even love and intelligence, go on
his own path.
Isn’t it good
that they separated? It was her (Anuradha) good fate that this woman who has
good character was uprooted from that place that was filled with dirt.
Yet, unable to
take care of the child born in her womb well, she too went on her own path. It
was good fortune that brought this girl to your place.
This girl who is an aspect of the
divine, is the form of Laxmi I declare! Where Laxmi resides, shouldn’t that
place have the characteristics of the lotus and have purity and innocence?
She came to that lotus (home of
Gajaraj) that is like this. I too, your family Guru came to the place that she
is at. Your family deity Goddess Karumaari Amman is also in the place she is
at.
I declare that it was God’s will
that a pure environment was created and the place she arrived in was cleansed,
and light was lit in the hearts of those who live there, and light was lit in
her mother.
So saying, Sage Agastya sang thus:
Blessed
One
Having gained the
blessings of
The Goddess of Art[1]
Giving several
poems to the world
Understanding the
reason
Giving the
response in seconds
Gaining fame in
art
Having light in
her eyes
Holding duties in
her heart
In this small form
Cultivating higher
thoughts
Living with higher
ideals
Is the intent she[2]
possesses!
Even though she is
young of age
Because of the
blessing of Goddess of learning[3]
She is the one who
expresses light
Like lightning
And speech like
thunder
She talks clearly
Like falling rain
Is the character
she possesses , I declare!
Embracing light
like Valluvar,
While growing up
Understanding
Divine elements
Exploring,
She is the divine
light
That will show the
way to others
I declare!
As she excels
In speech and in
deed
When an example is
sought
Of an ideal
person,
Who respects
elders
And possess higher
characteristics
There is no other
option
Than to point to
this girl
She is the
blessing given by God
Her mother bore
her
And this girl has
come
To this place that
is blessed by God
And has lit the
lamp
Of this family, I
declare!
She who possesses
such good characteristics
She too has my
blessings,
I declare!
Arul Thai Vijayalaxmi: Who is her Guru?
Sage Agastya: She will not have just one Guru. She has the
opportunity to have several that will be eager to take that place.
On February 15, 2003, responding to a question from
Anuradha, Sage Agastya reaffirmed what he had said about Roshni.
Anuradha: Should I induct Roshni into the path?
Sage Agastya: The seed is already in her. What plant, fruit
it bears is for the future. Let her grow naturally. She is God’s child.

Sree Nandheeshwarar Jeevanadi reading received in
December 2021 for Anuradha's daughter Roshni from Swami Siddhaguruji,
Navanadha Siddha Lineage. [Only text relevant to this book has been
extracted from the Nadi reading]
“I will read this girl’s Jeeva Nadi. She has faced many
challenges in her life till now. Even though the challenges continue, she will
triumph over them....”
“Right from her childhood, she has had the blessings of
Agastya and has always kept him in her heart. That is why he comes to her
dreams and blesses her. Her grandfather too blesses her.”
“Once when she was driving, she was supposed to have
experienced a major accident. However, Agastya protected her and averted a
major accident[1].”
“Such a great siddha has been blessing your family and that
is why even a small ant cannot enter your home to bother any of you. Sage
Agastya protects her like a calf. Even though she has left India and traveled
abroad, Sage Agastya is always with her, and continues to bless her and your
family.”
[In a message given on April 3, 2006 to Gajaraj Swamigal, just before Anuradha and Roshni left for US, Sage Agastya had said, "Sittramaikkum, sirumikkum pakka thunai naan irrukka, pin varuven, pogu idamellam kaathaarulven kadiravanai pol. kankalngaadhe magane, vaazthugal, om nama shivaya." Do not weep, my son, I will be with sittrammai (little mother, the term he used to address Anuradha) Sirumi (little girl, a term he used to address Roshni), as they walk, I will walk behind them wherever they go, and I will protect them like the sun itself. Do not worry. Aum Nama Shivaya" The words from the naadi reflect this promise even though the Nadi reader knew nothing about this]
“Do not forget these words that I am about to say to you:
Agastya has been guiding all of you. He has undertaken a great duty to serve
the world. In this Kaliyuga, countless tragedies are taking place. He is
slowly correcting humanity and directing them towards the correct path.
That is why great siddhas and Gurus are trying to protect the world. One among
them is Agastya.”
“He gives his hand in support to those that place their
faith in him and take a step forward. He prevents any untoward incidents from
taking place and averts such incidents. He helps those that have faith in him
lead a good life on earth without being affected by the major challenges that
the world is facing. Such a siddha is protecting us. That is why there are no
words to praise Agastya.”
“Truly, she will become a great disciple of Agastya. There
are no other words but to simply state that the greatness of such a disciple is
a matter of pride for this great Guru. You will have the opportunity to spread
the greatness of Agastya.”
“With Agastya’s blessing at hand, those on this earth that
pray to Agastya with folded hands will not have any want. Any problems that
occur in the lives of those that worship the feet of Agastya will see them turn
into minute problems the size of a mustard seed.”
“That is why, you who are of a young age, your history has
been in the presence of Agastya, you too will fulfill the Vazipaadu. …With Guru’s
blessings, all your problems will be destroyed. Agastya will guide you and
hence it is important that you keep his name in your heart always. All your karma
will be destroyed. …eventually, you will walk on the higher path of
spirituality and great revelations will come to you. I bless you that your life
will have no wants and you will live happily. Aum.”
[1] This indeed
took place. This incident is not known by anyone but me and my husband. Once
when she was driving the highway alone, a car hit her from the back. At the
high speeds that cars travel on highways, which would have resulted in a major
accident. However, neither Roshni nor her car were harmed. She was able to park
on the side for a few minutes and call us to inform us about what happened, recover,
and drive home.
